Five years ago Michael was privileged to be in the Oval Office to visit with and support the President just days after the 9/11 attacks.  During their conversation the President urged Michael to write a song about the events that shook our country. The result of that conversation was the song THERE SHE STANDS.

As we approach the 5 year remembrance of that tragic day I want to draw your attention to a documentary that will air on TBN this coming Monday September 11th at 7pm pacific / 9pm Central.  The documentary –The Cross and  the Towers is a moving tribute to the heroes of 9/11.  And they use Michael’s song THERE SHE STANDS in a way that you will never forget.  I can’t think of a more fitting time and place for this song than in this wonderful film.  Please tune in and urge others to do the same.

And, of course, let’s all be mindful and in prayer for the families and survivors.  I’m sure this anniversary will be a difficult time.
